In case you didn’t know, “86-Eighty Six” is Japanese Sci-Fi light novel series by Asato Asato. ASCII Media Works started publishing the novel series under the Dengeki Bunko label in February 2017. As of now, the light novel has 9 volumes.
The anime adaptation of the series premiered on April 10, and it already has 7 episodes (as of the writing of this article). Episode 8 will air on May 29, 2021.

The Synopsis of the story:
A War Without Casualties. The Republic of San Magnolia has long been under attack from the neighboring Giadian Empire’s army of unmanned drones known as the Legion.
