Funimation has announced that they will bring hundreds of anime episodes in Spanish and Portuguese sub and dub during the Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15) this year. They began making Spanish and Portuguese subbed and dubbed episodes for fans in the US and Canada earlier in 2021. Fans can enjoy some of the most popular titles, such as My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and Attack on Titan.
More specifically, they will add 1,000+ new episodes with subtitles in Spanish and Portuguese. For the dubbed version, they will add more than 600+ episodes, all beginning in September. Other titles to be added in Spanish and Portuguese include some classics like Cowboy Bebop and Fullmetal Alchemist. There will also be some recent shows like Wonder Egg Priority, SK8 the Infinity and Akudama Drive. All of the titles will be available to fans in the United States and Canada.

As they said, this is just one of the ways they’re celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, and fans will soon be able to enjoy a ton more anime in Spanish and Portuguese sub and dub on Funimation.
