BLEACH: TYBWA Anime Trailer Exceeds 5 Million Views in Under 5 Days

It has been 5 days since the first day of Jump Festa 2022 and the release of the first BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Arc (TYBWA) trailer, and it already has over 5 million views on the official upload on YouTube. Studio Pierrot is back to animate the final arc. It will begin in October 2022, which will be over 10 years since the original TV series ended in March 2012. You can watch the new trailer:

The video features Ichigo’s theme “Number One” from the original TV anime. Hazel Fernandes sings the iconic theme song, which was composed by Shirou Sagisu. The trailer also has over 3.4 million views on the official Twitter upload, which you can check out below:

BLEACH: The-Thousand Year Blood War

The The-Thousand Year Blood War is the final arc of Tite Kubo’s BLEACH manga. It covers chapter 480-696 (volumes 55-74). VIZ licensed the manga in English, and they describe the story of volume 55:

The peace is suddenly broken when warning sirens blare through the Soul Society. Residents there are disappearing without a trace, and nobody knows who’s behind it. Meanwhile, a dark shadow is also extending itself toward Ichigo and his friends in Karakura Town…
