The official Twitter account for the previously announced original badminton anime Ryman’s Club has revealed a new trailer, and it features the opening theme “The Warrior” by the Japanese rock band Novelbright. The anime will premiere on January 22, 2022, while studio LIDENFILMS in charge of the production, and you can watch the new trailer:
The anime follows Mikoto Shiratori, a child prodigy badminton player who suffered a big loss in high school and hasn’t recovered since. He then becomes a salary man, and joins his corporate team. Besides Junya Enoki (Itadori Yuuji in Jujutsu Kaisen, Nasa in Tonikaku Kawaii), voicing the MC, the cast includes:
- Junya Enoki as Mikoto Shiratori
- Shin-ichiro Miki as Tatsuru Miyazumi
- Kaito Ishikawa as Souta Saeki
- Ryota Osaka as Touya Saeki
- Tetsuya Kakihara as Kouki Takeda
