The previously announced The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten anime adaptation revealed a new teaser visual along with a 2023 premiere date. Project No.9 is animating the series.
The Angel Girl Spoils Me Rotten anime previously revealed a teaser trailer and then a teaser visual that featured the main cast, which includes:
- Taito Ban as Amane Fujimiya
- Manaka Iwami as Mahiru Shiina
- Taku Yahiro as Itsuki Akazawa
- Haruka Shiraishi as Chitose Shirakawa
The anime is based on Saekisan’s The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten light novel series, originally published on Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2018. The series received a printed light novel version in GA Bunko (SB Creative’s imprint) in 2019. Hanekoto illustrated the light novel. The series was licensed by Yen Press in English:
Mahiru is a beautiful girl whose classmates all call her an “angel.” Not only is she a star athlete with perfect grades—she’s also drop-dead gorgeous. Amane‚ an average guy and self-admitted slob‚ has never thought much of the divine beauty‚ despite attending the same school. Everything changes‚ however‚ when he happens to see Mahiru sitting alone in a park during a rainstorm. Thus begins the strange relationship between this incredibly unlikely pair!
