Nights With a Cat anime opened a YouTube channel and posted a new trailer for the anime that is set to have an August 3 premiere. The anime’s official Twitter account also released a new visual. The anime will begin streaming on the channel on August 3 as well.
The visual shows the three main characters: The cat Kuryuga rubbing his head on his owner’s face. Futa-kun is sitting there while holding Kyuryuga and his sister Pi-chan is sitting on a sofa and watching them from afar. The visual also has a caption in the upper right corner: When I get back home tired at night, I want to spend time with a cat.
The 56-second-long video on the anime’s YouTube channel introduces the characters’ voices and the theme song. The cast members are listed as:
- Ayahi Takagaki (Kuro in the Blue Exorcist series) as the cat, Kyuryuga
- Satoshi Hino (Ainz Ooal Gown/Momon in the Overlord series) as the owner, Futa-kun
- Atsumi Tanezaki (Anya Forger in the Spy x Family series) as Futa-kun‘s sister, Pi-chan
Kashitaro Ito, the opening song singer for Trapped In A Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs, is performing the theme song titled “Hinata no Kuni“, which literally means Country of Sunny Places. You can check the trailer below:
