Ufotable Begins Long-Term Genshin Impact Animation Project

HoYoverse and studio Ufotable are collaborating on a long-term Genshin Impact animation project, as announced earlier during the version 3.1 live stream. A concept trailer by ufotable was revealed and it features the world of Tevyat, Paimon, and the twins – Aether and Lumine. Yu-Peng Chen’s music can be heard in the trailer but in Ufotable’s arrangement:

There is still no information regarding the project’s format, but the studio is known for collaborating with games such as Tales of ARISE. During version 3.1 live stream on Twitch, The CEO of HoYoverse, Liu We expressed his excitement about the upcoming collaboration: “Wow, we’ve been waiting so long for Genshin Impact to finally get its own animation series!

Ufotable is a Japanese animation studio that was founded by Hikaru Kondou in 2000. The studio is popular for animating Fate series, Demon Slayer, Kara no Kyoukai, Tales of Zestiria the Cross, Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu, Gyo, Tales of Symphonia The Animation, Futakoi Alternative, Coyote Ragtime Show, and more iconic anime titles.

Genshin Impact is a game by Chinese developer, HoYoverse (previously known as miHoYo). The company launched the game on September 28, 2020, and it is currently on its 17th version. The game will be 2 years old on September 28. The trailer for the upcoming update has also been revealed:
