Atsumi Tanezaki, the voice actress of Anya Forger in Spy x Family, picked her best scene from episode 24. The voice actress won Yahoo! Japan Search Awards 2022 in the Voice Actor category. Last week, Saori Hayami, Yor Forger’s voice actress, picked her favorite scene from episode 23.
The official Twitter account of the anime and TOHO animation’s YouTube channel posts a video weekly that shows a member of the cast or staff picking the best scene from every episode along with their comments, and the new update is for the anime’s 24th episode, titled “The Role of a Mother and Wife/Shopping with Friends.”
“It was such a cute episode for girls,” the voice actress of Anya Forger begins to tell what was good about the episode and continues: “I’m glad that Anya has Becky, and Becky has Anya. It makes me go nuts over my thought of what Becky has in mind at the moment when she gets the sheep [from Anya], and it also makes me really happy to the point it almost makes me cry that Anya is getting more time to spend with friends, more ordinary experience, and more cherished memories. After going through this episode, it feels even more precious to see the back of them in the opening sequence……“

The WIT STUDIO and CloverWorks’ collaborative anime Spy x Family based on Tatsuya Endo’s Shonen Jump+ manga of the same name began in April and ended its first cour on June 25 in Japan with the 12th episode. The second cour began broadcasting on October 1, and the manga surpassed 26.5 million circulating copies with the 10th volume’s release on October 4.
