The cover for the Seiyuu Grandprix March 2023 issue is finally here. Sora Amamiya, who celebrated her 10th anniversary as a voice actress last year, is gracing the front cover of the latest edition of the popular magazine. The issue’s top story is about Amamiya’s upcoming EP album, which going to release on March 22, titled “Sora Amamiya Works Collection 1 – Fuse -.” It includes songs written and composed by herself. Aside from her album, the voice artist also talked about the first moments she was recognized as a voice actress, what she pays attention to when playing a character, and the difficulties she faced after 10 years of voice acting.
Kaori Maeda also appears in the March 2023 issue of Seiyuu Grandprix, on the back cover. The artist is also expecting the release of her first extended play album on March 15. In her special feature in the magazine, she shares her experience during the recording and her plans for the future of her career.
The upcoming issue will also feature other stories about Shindo Amane’s first photobook and highlight other artists: Kana Hanazawa, Akari Kito, Shuka Saito, Miku Ito, Yui Ogura, Moeka Koizumi, Yuki Nakashima, and Yuri Noguchi. Seiyuu Grandprix March 2023 issue will be available to purchase for 1,550 yen (around $11) on February 9, 2023. Special posters from both featured artists are also added as a benefit upon purchasing from specific retailers.
The last issue had Yuichiro Umehara and Rie Takahashi on the covers of the magazine.
