The Tales of Wedding Rings anime series revealed its first teaser trailer on Saturday during Anime Japan 2023. Additional cast for the series that was announced includes Mikako Komatsu as Amber Idanokan, Miyuri Shimabukuro as Nephrites Lomka, Ai Kakuma as Saphir Maasa, and Hitomi Ueda as Granat Needakitta. Tales of Wedding Rings is animated by studio Staple Entertainment and will premiere in 2024.
A new teaser visual was also revealed as part of the big announcement which you can view below. Takashi Naotani will be directing the series while Deko Akao will handle the series composition and Saori Nakashiki the character designs.

Manga
Tales of Wedding Rings written and illustrated by Maybe has published a total of 13 volumes since it first began serialization back in Monthly Big Gangan back in 2014. Yen Press acquired the English license for the series in 2017 and has since published the first 11 volumes of the series with Volume 12 set to release on August 23, 2023.
The Tales of Wedding Rings manga currently has 1.3 million copies in circulation as of March 2023.
Yen Press describes the story of Tales of Weddings Rings as the following:
Satou and his best friend, Hime, have been together for as long as he can remember. So when she tells him she’s going back to her home world to get married, his first thought is to follow her and crash her wedding. All goes according to plan, and with a kiss from Hime herself, Satou becomes the new groom! But unbeknownst to Satou, the man who marries Hime is destined to be a hero of immense power and save the world! Is Satou up for the challenge, or is this just too much responsibility for one high schooler to handle?!
