The Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO movie has revealed a new trailer at the Jump Festa 2022, and it also got new cast additions and a release date. Mamoru Miyano and Hiroshi Kamiya have joined the cast as Gamma 1 and Gamma 2, and the movie will release on April 22, 2022. Watch the new trailer:

The upcoming Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO previously revealed its title with a teaser trailer. Toei Animation is back to handle the production, while the creator Akira Toriyama is in charge of writing for the movie. This is the first Dragon Ball project after the Broly movie from 2018.

The Dragon Ball Super TV anime series ran from 2015 to 2018 with a total of 131 episodes. Funimation and Crunchyroll streamed the anime, for which they describe the plot:
