Solo Leveling Season 2 -Arise From the Shadow- has released the preview for Episode 8 (Episode 20 overall). Jinwoo is now an S-Rank hunter, and he is ready to complete the Demon Realm. Studio A-1 Pictures is animating, with 13 episodes confirmed for the season. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime.
The title of the next episode is “Looking Up was Tiring Me Out” and it will premiere on Saturday, February 22. You can see the preview images, synopsis, and episode staff below.

In order to obtain the material for the Elixir of Life, Jinwoo continues his conquest of the “Demon Castle” with the female demon Esil by his side. As they advance floor by floor, Igris and Tank also level up step by step.
Finally reaching the top floor, Jinwoo is confronted by Demon King Baran, who appears atop a massive white dragon, exuding an overwhelming aura.

The anime is based on the Solo Leveling webtoon by Chugong and DUBU from REDICE Studio, which was adapted by h-goon. The story follows the world’s ‘weakest hunter’ Sung Jinwoo, as he gets a way to level up in a world where it is otherwise impossible. He has now officially become S-Rank, and he is ready to finish the Elixir of Life for his mother.
Solo Leveling was previously also voted the most anticipated anime of Winter 2024, and it also won Best New Anime at our Winter 2024 Anime Awards.The second season was then voted as the most anticipated show of Winter 2025 this season.
