Koikimo episode 10 is now out! Following the confession of Matsushima from the previous episode, she also talked about things that may happen in the future. Thus, Ryo thinks about the burdens he might cause on Ichika in case they started going out.
To start off, Matsushima and Ryo are still talking about their feelings. One of the good things here is that Ryo is still not awkward towards Matsushima despite her confession. Also, he is still telling her good things. Because of that, Matsushima can’t just give up on Ryo and decides to do everything she can to win his heart.
It seems that it will be tough for Matsushima to achieve her goal.
Since that night, Ryo realized the cruel reality in society, where there’s a big chance that he and Ichika might not become happy because of their age gap. Hence, he seeks advice from Masuda. There, he became aware of what he needs to do.
After some days, Ryo and Ichika go on a date. There, Ryo notices that Ichika is prettier than usual and he tells her that. Because of it, Ichika remembers that she bought a magazine that features adult fashion. It appears that she followed the attires of the adult women in that magazine.
While they are at it, some of Ryo’s co-worker appears in front of them unexpectedly. Of course, Ryo intends to introduce Ichika to them as his crush. Unfortunately, to his surprise, Ichika says that she is his brother. Therefore, Ryo becomes sad and thinks that both of them will only suffer if Ichika keeps lying. For him, it is clear that this is one of the burdens the two of them are now facing.
It looks like Matsushima was right when she said that Ichika and Ryo will only suffer if they started dating.
What’s more, Ichika and Ryo settle in front of the ocean in the latter part of the day. While at it, Ryo’s mind is still filled with negative thoughts about their difference in age. Therefore, he tries to kiss Ichika to know if she cares about their age gap. Nevertheless, he still failed to do it.
Even after Ryo’s attempt, the two of them are still nice to each other and they are happily talking on their way home. Because of what happened on this memorable day, Ryo decides to meet up with Matsushima to tell her something. The day of their meet-up came, and there, Ryo tells her that she must give up on him because he is clearly in love with Ichika. After hearing that, Matsushima still answers Ryo with a smile until they part ways.
It must be really hard for Matsushima to fake her smile.
Koikimo episode 10 really expressed some developments between Ichika and Ryo. However, what happened to Matsushima is really sad. I hope she finds the right guy for her in the future. Synopsis
One rainy day, salaryman Amakusa Ryo is saved by a high school girl he doesn’t know at the station. He later finds out that the girl is Arima Ichika. Ryo is somewhat of a womanizer and to repay her for saving him, he suggests giving her a kiss or going out on a date with her, in which Ichika tells him he’s creepy.
This, however, opens a new door for Ryo and he falls madly in love with her. Ever since then, Ryo tries to overly express his feelings to Ichika. Ichika just keeps insulting him and says he’s being creepy, but he just seems to take it as her way of showing affection towards him…
