Atena is really cute in her maid outfit in episode 7 of Mother of the Goddess’ Dormitory. The previous episode made it clear that Koushi is in love with someone residing in the “Goddess’ Dorm”. Thus, having it admitted to himself made him back to normal. That said, Koushi and Sutea go to the “Seikan Women’s University For me”, because of its school festival and they didn’t complain about it. However, in my opinion, the events in this chapter are really not for kids.
Warning: Spoilers Ahead!
To begin with, Frey guides Koushi and Sutea as they tour around the school. Their first stop is at Mineru’s illegal shop because she is selling her homemade elixirs with wicked effects. Then, the committee that is tracking illegal businesses in the school festival discovers Mineru, making her leave Sutea and Koushi. While running away, she didn’t realize that her elixirs are falling one by one to the ground. After some series of unfortunate events, Koushi, Frey, and Sutea suddenly see a bunch of women pairs, kissing each other. A pink mist is also surrounding the area.
I was really laughing at this scene because I had a hunch on what might have caused this obscene incident and I was right. One of the elixirs that fell from Mineru’s bag exploded, producing pink mist around the area. The elixir makes the people who inhale it succumb to lust. While watching the indecent view, the girls notice Koushi and they also force him to make out with them, stripping him half-naked.
Atena in Maid Outfit
Serene saves Koushi and the others from Minueru’s elixir using her mysterious powers. Then, Frey brings Koushi and Sutea to a maid cafe where Atena is working on. There, they see Atena’s efforts in trying to overcome her fear of men. Atena is doing it by working as a waitress in the cafe while she is in a maid outfit. There is also a scene where some guys try to hit on Atena but unlike the beach episode, she was able to defend herself this time.
In the previous episode, I became a Frey simp, but after seeing this, I’m back to being an Atena simp. When I look at Atena’s eyes on the image above, I always feel that I’m about to melt anytime. It also took away some of the stress I had at the moment I saw this scene in the actual episode. Seeing Atena like that makes me feel motivated.
Koushi Being True to Himself
After a few minutes, due to various circumstances, Atena goes for a break and takes a tour around the campus together with Koushi. Their first stop is at the event where Kiriya is participating. Because of the environment in the venue, Koushi pulls out a bottle from his bag and drinks what is inside it. Unfortunately, he just noticed that the one he drank is one of Mineru’s elixirs that makes you true to yourself. After that, Kiriya joins Koushi and Atena as they go to a horror house. There’s a lot of things in the horror house that 12-year old kids love. Thus, Koushi shows his bubbly side for the first time around Atena and Kiriya. There are also scenes where Koushi grabs the chests of the two of them because of being true to himself while facing some challenges inside the horror house.
At this point, scenes like this one are not new to me. Though, I’m still laughing because at the end of the episode. Mineru told Koushi that the elixir he drank was fake. Therefore, all of his actions were because of his desires and not because of the elixir. We can also see here Sutea stepping on someone’s head while wearing a maid uniform. Frey also said that she was a tsundere maid.
In addition, even though I’m back at being an Atena simp, I still think that Frey is the real MVP in this episode, so the image below serves as an appreciation post for her.
