Suzuki Nakaba started The Seven Deadly Sins manga back in 2012. It was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine, and ended earlier this year on March 25th. He already published a one-shot with characters based on Derieri and Monspeet, but that had nothing to do with the actual 7ds story. However, Comic Natalie reported that the direct Nanatsu no Taizai sequel will be titled “The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse” and release on January 27, 2021. The story will begin in Britannia from the top called “God’s Finger.” The teaser visual from a few months ago:
The teaser image reveals the main character, his pet and potentially the enemy in the background. It’s unclear who the boy is, but he’s most likely a child of one (or two) members of the 7ds main cast. It releases in the magazine’s 9th issue on January 27, 2021. Now there is also a new illustration:
The anime’s final season [The Seven Deadly Sins: Dragon’s Judgement] is set to start on January 6th. Studio DEEN and Marvy Jack are in charge of the animation production. The opening and ending songs’ artists were revealed as well, and you can read more about that here.
2021 is almost here. There will be a lot of good shows and manga series. Nanatsu no Taizai fans will have a lot to do with both the final anime season and sequel manga!
