Hulu revealed that That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensura) Season 2 will be released on the platform starting April 20 in English subbed and dubbed, per the official site. Spanning another 24 episodes over two split cours, the season first premiered in Japan and on Crunchyroll overseas from January to September 2021. Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End will begin streaming on Hulu in English subbed and dubbed starting April 6, after first debuting from September 2023 to March 2024.

Hulu Sets Frieren, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Release Dates for April
Also joining Hulu this month is The Apothecary Diaries Season 1 (April 1, subbed and dubbed), Fire Force Season 1-3 (April 4, subbed), Yaiba: Samurai Legend (April 5, subbed), and Synduality: Noir sometime this month in English dubbed. Witch Watch premieres on April 6 with an English dub announced for April 27.
As fans continue their catch-up, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime announced Season 4 and a second movie last September. Anime Corner also spoke to the anime producer Shinichiro Narita and the series’ editor Riichiro Umetsu in July. Last month, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 2’s release window was confirmed to be January 2026. You can check out the new teaser visual at the link above.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime adapts the manga of the same name by Fuse (story), Taiki Kawakami (art), and Mitz Vah (character designs). Eight Bit was responsible for animation production. The Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End anime was produced by Madhouse, adapting Kanehito Yamada (story) and Tsukasa Abe’s (art) manga series. Coincidentally, Frieren collaborated with Tensura‘s Isekai Memories game last year. You can check out the trailer below.
