The previously announced Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night original anime has released its first ever animated trailer ahead of its premiere next year. Studio Doga Kobo is animating the series.
The original anime will be directed by Ryohei Takeshita, with Yuki Yaku doing both the scriptwriting and series composition. Meanwhile, character designers for the anime include Popman3580 for the draft and Junichiro Taniguchi for the animation. JELEE did the original work for this series.
Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night was first announced on March 2023 to celebrate Doga Kobo’s 50-year anniversary. The first two teasers can be watched here, while the third can be seen here. The official website lists the anime’s plot as:
“I want to find what I like.”
Shibuya, a town overflowing with identity.
