A title for the Trigun Stampede sequel was revealed on Friday during Anime Expo 2024. TRIGUN STARGAZE sequel project is set to air in 2025 and will be the final phase of the story. Original creator Yasuhiro Nightow drew a special illustration to commemorate the announcement:

Trigun Stampede aired for 12 episodes from January 7 – March 25 during the Winter 2023 season. Kenji Muto directed the series at Studio Orange while Shin Okashima, Tatsuro Inamoto, and Yoshihisa Ueda all handled the script and series composition. During Otakon 2023, Producer Yoshihiro Watanabe revealed that the series took five years to make and was first planned in 2017.
The main cast included Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Vash the Stampede, Junya Ikeda as Millions Knives, Yoshimasa Hosoya as Nicholas D. Wolfwood, Kenji Matsuda as Roberto de Niro, and Sakura Ando as Meryl Stryfe. Johnny Yong Bosch reprised his role as Vash in the English dub of the series.
Trigun Stampede was a new take on the original manga written and illustrated by Yasuhiro Nightow. The manga was originally serialized in Monthly Shonen Captain starting in 1995 but later moved to Young King OURs after Monthly Shōnen Captain got axed. From there on, the title of Trigun changed to Trigun: Maximum, which the remaining 14 volumes of the series were published under (Vol. 1 and Vo. 2 were under the Trigun title).
US-based publisher Dark Horse published all of the single volumes of Trigun/Trigun: Maximum in English until they eventually released a single omnibus volume for Trigun and five omnibus volumes for Trigun: Maximum. The publisher later announced in 2023 that hardcover editions of the Trigun and Trigun: Maximum manga will be released, which are all currently available for pre-order.

But their investigation turns out to uncover something heinous—his evil twin brother, Millions Knives.
The Trigun Stampede sequel will be released in 2025 with Studio Orange continuing to handle the animation production.
