THE iDOLM@STER SHINY COLORS Season 2 revealed a new key visual, as well as an October 4 release date in Japan. You can see the new visual below.
Just like the first season, the sequel was also split in 3 parts and is being shown in theaters in Japan ahead of its regular premiere. Part 1 released from July 5 to July 25, Part 2 began showing on August 23 and will run until September 12, while Part 3 will begin showing on September 20 and conclude on October 10. A new trailer was also released for the upcoming Part 3 of the theatrical release. You can check it out below.
Bandai Namco Entertainment is producing, with studio Polygon Pictures handling the animation. Takeshi Iwata and Mankyuu are directing the anime, with Yoichi Kato in charge of the series composition and script. The voice cast consists of:

THE iDOLM@STER SHINY COLORS is a training simulation game from the iDOLM@STER franchise. It was initially launched on Bandai Namco Entertainment’s Enza platform in April 2018, and it was released on Android and iOS in March 2019.
