Fujino Omori wrote Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? as his first light novel. The initial title was Familia Myth, and it features illustrations by Suzuhito Yasuda. The series won the 4th GA Bunko Award, getting an offer to be published. Since then, 19 volumes have been released by SB Creative, and there have been numerous spin-offs, manga adaptations, and the anime adaptation. Yen Press licensed the light novel, while HIDIVE is streaming the anime.

He is also writing the story for the Wistoria: Wand and Sword manga, which is illustrated by Toshi Aoi. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine since December 9, 2020, with 10 published volumes as of June. Kodansha USA licensed it in English, while Crunchyroll is streaming the anime adaptation. Season 2 was already confirmed to be in production.
