The special edited version of ONE PIECE: Fish-Man Island Saga has been delayed from its original October 27 premiere, and the first episode is now scheduled to release on November 3. The reason is the live broadcast of the MLB World Series in its timeslot. The Episode 1 preview has been released, with the premiere episode titled “The New Beginning! The Straw Hats Reunite!”

The newly edited version will feature the part of the anime condensed into 21 episodes, featuring improved visuals and sound. It is set to air during the TV anime’s half-year hiatus, with the story set to continue in April 2025 (or rather, on March 30, 2025).

Prior to this, the anime released ONE PIECE FAN LETTER, a special episode directed by Megumi Ishitani. It adapted the spin-off novel One Piece novel Straw Hat Stories by Tomohito Ohsaki and showed the perspective of some characters not aiming to attain the mysterious treasure Gol D. Roger left behind.

ONE PIECE anime is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year with several projects and collaborations. Some of them were the Las Vegas take over, a T-Shirt collaboration with UNIQLOa gaming chair collection with TTRacinga special recap video, among many others.

There is also the upcoming remake by WIT Studio, as well as the 2nd season of the live-action series, which recently revealed the first look at Chopper and Drum Island.

ONE PIECE Episode 1123 & Chapter 1131 Release Date

Episode 1123 of the anime is expected premiere on March 30, 2025. The ONE PIECE manga will release chapter 1131 on November 11 in Japan (November 10 depending on your region). You can watch the anime on Crunchyroll and Netflix, while you can catch up to the latest manga chapter for free on either the VIZ website or the MANGA Plus website.
