I Want to Escape from Princess Lessons anime has revealed the main visual and trailer, along with new cast members, a January 5, 2025 premiere date, and information on the theme songs. Studio EMT Squared is in charge of the animation.
The opening theme will be “I’ll Only Love You” by Jun Fukuyama, while the ending theme will be “An Alibi Courtesy” by DIALOGUE+. You can hear a preview of the opening in the new trailer below.
The main cast consists of Haruka Shiraishi as Leticia and Jun Fukuyama as Prince Clarke. The newly announced voice cast members include Wataru Hatano as Nadir and Yuka Saito as Brianna. You can see the four characters in the new key visual for the I Want to Escape from Princess Lessons anime.
Shinobu Tagashira will serve as both the director and character designer of the series, with Tomoko Kanemaki in charge of the series composition. The anime previously released the first teaser trailer in August.
Izumi Sawano writes the I Want to Escape From Princess Lessons light novel series, which features illustrations by Miru Yumesaki. It was originally published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website from August 2018 to May 2019, before getting serialized by Shufu to Seikatsu Sha from April 2019 to March 2020 under its PASH! Books imprint. There is also an ongoing manga adaptation by Uri Sugata.
J-Novel Club licensed both the novel and manga in English, describing the story:
