KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World Season 3 has announced 2 new OVA episodes, which will get a theatrical premiere in March 2025. The movie (or double episode) will be screened for two weeks in Japanese theaters starting on March 14, 2025, while they will release on Blu-ray and DVD on Friday, April 25, 2025. Studio Drive animated the season.
The title is KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World Season 3 -BONUS STAGE- and you can watch the teaser trailer below:
The main cast members are reprising their roles, including:
- Sora Amamiya as Aqua
- Rie Takahashi as Megumin
- Ai Kayano as Darkness
- Jun Fukushima as Kazuma Sato
KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World! (Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!) written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima is light novel series that first started publishing in 2013. The series ended in 2020, after 17 volumes. It has multiple spin-offs and side stories, along with an anime adaptation.
The first two seasons of the anime adaptation were animated by Studio DEEN. Studio Drive animated the Megumin spin-off KONOSUBA: An Explosion on This Wonderful World in 2023, and they also took charge of the third TV anime season.
J.C. Staff animated the KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world! Movie: Legend of Crimson movie, which was released in 2019.

After a traffic accident, Kazuma Sato’s disappointingly brief life was supposed to be over, but he wakes up to see a beautiful girl before him. She claims to be a goddess, Aqua, and asks if he would like to go to another world and bring only one thing with him. Kazuma decides to bring the goddess herself, and they are transported to a fantasy world filled with adventure, ruled by a demon king. Now Kazuma only wants to live in peace, but Aqua wants to solve many of this world’s problems, and the demon king will only turn a blind eye for so long…
