Gege Akutami’s JUJUTSU KAISEN manga officially ended on September 30, 2024. It was serialized for 6-and-a-half years since March 2018 and the story was concluded in 30 volumes. Volumes 29 and 30 will both be released on December 25, 2024. In addition to the movie, the Jump Festa ’25 stage also announced new epilogues for Yuko Ozawa, Panda, Nobara Kugisaki, and Uraume.
Studio MAPPA animated both seasons of the TV anime and movie for the franchise, and they are also working on the upcoming Culling Game sequel.
The manga is licensed by VIZ Media in English, while Crunchyroll streams the anime. Crunchyroll describes the story:
Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses… and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back.
MAPPA also animated the compilation movie for Attack on Titan‘s final chapters, which revealed international release dates yesterday.
