Flower and Asura released the creditless opening and ending video of the series ahead of the first episode’s premiere. SHISHAMO sings the opening theme song “Jibun Kakumei” and the ending theme song “Roro” is performed by Satou.

Studio Bind is animating the series with Ayumu Uwano as director. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu is writing the script while Masaru Yokoyama is composing the music. Hikari Komine is designing the characters for the anime and is credited as chief animation director alongside Satoshi Shimada.

The cast consists of the following:

The anime is based on a manga written by Sound Euphonium‘s author, Ayano Takeda, and illustrated by Musshu. It began serialization in Shueisha’s seinen manga magazine Ultra Jump in June 2021. Shueisha describes the story as follows:
Hana lives on the small island of Tonakijima with a population of 600 and loves reading to the children of the island. Mizuki is the president of the broadcasting club at school. She recognizes Hana’s ability to engage people through her reading, and so she invites her to join the broadcasting club.

“Tell me what you really want, and I will make it come true.”
“I want to join the broadcasting club.”

Hana decides to join, and she experiences many “firsts” with the members of the broadcasting club and begins to deepen her love of reading
