Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? (DanMachi) Season 5 will release the Volume 2 Blu-ray on April 30, 2025, revealing the stunning cover illustration featuring Freya and Bell. This volume will conclude the fifth season, covering Episodes 10–15. The anime went on a break due to production issues and will be returning to HIDIVE on February 7.

Studio J.C. Staff is animating, with the ongoing season covering the Fertility Goddess arc. The anime was previously indefinitely delayed due to production issues. Hideki Tachibana is directing, while the rest of the main anime staff includes Shigeki Kimoto as the character designer, Fujino Omori and Hideki Shirane in charge of the series composition, and Keiji Inai as the music composer.

Fujino Omori writes the DanMachi light novel, which features illustrations by Suzuhito Yasuda. The novel recently entered enter its final arc with Volume 21. Yen Press licensed it in English, while HIDIVE streams the anime. The latest game adaptation of the franchise, Fullland of Water and Light, is set to release on February 27, 2025.
