Following our previous report that Netflix confirmed a 2025 release date for ONE PIECE Season 2 live-action, their official website has deleted the information. The news were previously revealed in an article on Netflix TUDUM, which was promoting the collaboration with LEGO.

The post has now been edited, removing the mention of the release date. While it is possible that this was an accidental reveal, it could also mean that the release window is either incorrect or subject to change. You can see the updated version of the text below.

Season 2 of the ONE PIECE live-action already revealed over 20 new cast members, and the first look at Chopper and Drum Island was revealed in September.

Eiichiro Oda himself praised the sequel, saying it would surpass Season 1. You can see more behind-the-scenes material in the set tour video, where Jeff Ward also seemingly confirmed it would arrive this year.

The live-action series has Matt Owens (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Luke Cage) and Steven Maeda (The X-Files, CSI: Miami, Lost) serving as writers, executive producers, and showrunners. The creator, Eiichiro Oda, is also among the show’s executive producers and consistently confirms he is deeply involved in the project. The new cast for Season 2 includes:

The first season made its debut on August 31, and it topped Netflix’s global English TV Ranking with 18.5 million total views, 140.1 million hours viewed and an average runtime of 7:34 hours. It kept its top spot in the 2nd week as well, marking a huge success for the adaptation.

The main cast is returning and includes:
