The Naruto North American symphonic concert follows a successful European run, which drew over 60,000 fans, per Variety. Conductors Emily Marshall and Heidi Joosten will lead the orchestra to a backdrop of the large HD cinema screen playing iconic moments from the first 220 episodes of Naruto. Julien Vallespi and Quentin Benayoun selected the footage for the 2-hour performance. Naruto The Symphonic Experience is produced by GEA Live, Un Pour Tous Productions, and RoadCo Entertainment.
In the announcement, conductor Marshall said, “I’m so excited to bring the iconic music of ‘Naruto’ to life all across the country. The score is so diverse and thrilling that I’m sure it’s truly going to be an unforgettable experience for fans everywhere.” The symphonic tour also follows the success of other anime-inspired symphonies, such as the One Piece Music Symphony, which visited the U.S. last year.
Anime Corner had the opportunity to speak to One Piece Music Symphony founder, producer, and presenter Julien Mombert ahead of the U.S. stop. He spoke about what defines One Piece‘s music, the improvement in the perception and prestige of composing anime music, and working with Japanese musical greats like Nobuo Uematsu, who was also revealed to be an inspiration of famed anime music composer Evan Call when we interviewed him last year.

Before the Naruto symphonic tour, fans can relive the iconic music of Naruto through the anime. Crunchyroll streams both Naruto and Naruto Shippuden in English subbed. It’s officially described:
The Village Hidden in the Leaves is home to the stealthiest ninja. But twelve years earlier, a fearsome Nine-tailed Fox terrorized the village before it was subdued and its spirit sealed within the body of a baby boy.
