The highly anticipated Solo Leveling Season 2 Episode 11 is set to premiere tomorrow, March 15, and A-1 Pictures anime producer commented on a leak of the footage going out early. Atsushi Kaneko, who goes on X (formerly Twitter) by the handle @kanegone_1006, noted appreciation for the anticipation of the upcoming episode, adding that leaking the footage early is a betrayal to both the creative staff and the fans. His full post reads:
“I appreciate your anticipation of our latest story. But…it is a real shame that the footage is leaked prior to broadcast and distribution. It is an act of betrayal to the creative staff and the fans who are looking forward to the show. I feel sorry for them. It’s a shame.”
Kaneko’s statement reflects broader frustration within the anime industry, which frequently deals with leaks undermining planned releases and promotional campaigns. This situation follows a similar incident from last year when Netflix faced major anime leaks, involving several high-profile series like DAN DA DAN, Ranma ½, and Arcane’s second season. The leaks then originated from Netflix’s post-production partner Iyuno. Netflix responded by aggressively working to remove leaked content and conducting investigations to identify responsible parties.
Iyuno, a global post-production provider responsible for subtitling and dubbing services, publicly acknowledged the breach and committed themselves to investigating to mitigate any potential risks and identify the responsible parties.
Solo Leveling Season 2 Episode 11 officially premieres tomorrow, March 15, and it will be available worldwide on Crunchyroll. The title of the episode is “It’s Going to Get Even More Intense.”
