Watari-kun’s ****** Is about to Collapse (Watari-kun no xx ga Hokai Sunzen) anime revealed the first teaser trailer at the ongoing AnimeJapan 2025 event. The anime previously revealed the teaser visual, main voice cast, staff, and a July 2025 release date.
Studio Staple Entertainment is in charge of the animation, with Takashi Naoya as the director and Matsuo Asami as the assistant director. While the YouTube upload seems to be facing an errors, you can watch the first trailer on the anime’s official X account.

Background
Watari-kun’s ****** Is About to Collapse is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Naru Narumi. It was first serialized in Kadokawa Shoten’s Young Ace magazine from August 2014 to January 2015, before continuing in Kodansha’s Monthly Young Magazine from November 2015 to September 2023. Kodansha USA licensed it in English, describing the story:
Naoto Watari has had his share of struggles: his parents died two years ago, and now he and his sister live at his aunt’s house. There, his desire to protect his sister earned him notoriety as “the guy with the sister complex”—which never mattered to him, as his sister always came first. But when Satsuki, a childhood friend-turned-enemy(?), becomes his school mate, Naoto’s ordinary life is thrown into chaos… and Satsuki may just be the beginning.
