Wind Breaker Season 2 Episode 8 Preview Images and Staff Revealed

The preview images and staff for Wind Breaker Season 2 Episode 8 were revealed on Wednesday. The new episode titled “United Front” will be released on May 22. Crunchyroll is streaming the Wind Breaker anime series with English subtitles.

Synopsis:
Sakura, Nirei, and Suo rescued a girl, Shizuka Narita, in last week’s episode after she was being chased. The three then met the suit-wearing team Roppo-Ichiza, led by Kanji Nakamura. The Roppo Troupe is an ultra-belligerent team that had clashed with Bofurin many times before the unification. However, they do not appear to be in conflict now. On the contrary, when they go to the “Show Pub OUGI” to which Nakamura and Shizuka belong, they find Tsubakino performing a pole dance while the Sakaki brothers watch on from another table.

Toshifumi Akai returns to direct Wind Breaker Season 2 with studio CloverWorks continuing to handle the animation production. Hiroshi Seko (Chainsaw Man) is reprising his role in charge of the series composition as is Ryou Takahashi as the music composer. Taishi Kawakami (character designer) and Kazuyuki Asaka (action director) are also reprising their roles for the new season.

The Wind Breaker anime is based on the manga written and illustrated by Satoru Nii which has been serialized on the manga website Magazine Pocket since January 2021. There are currently 21 volumes released with no announced date for the next one. Kodansha USA is publishing the series in English, with the first 10 volumes currently available in print and the first 19 digitally.
