NTT DOCOMO’s digital manga platform MANGA MIRAI has entered a major new phase of expansion, announcing the addition of titles from VIZ Media, the leading manga publisher in North America.
The new partnership, effective as of June 24, brings approximately 4,000 volumes to the platform in stages, including many popular series. Some of them are One Piece, NARUTO, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, as well as newer fan favorites like Jujutsu Kaisen, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Call of the Night, Uzumaki, and Komi Can’t Communicate. (Uzumaki and Komi will be released on July 1.)

To celebrate the VIZ Media expansion, MANGA MIRAI will run a 50% off “Adapted to Anime” campaign from July 1 to July 31, featuring the following eight series:

Library to Reach 20,000 Volumes by August
The VIZ Media partnership is a huge milestone in MANGA MIRAI’s growth since its March 2025 U.S. debut. Initially launching with 11,000 volumes from publishers including Kodansha USA, Yen Press, and SQUARE ENIX, the platform is now on track to host nearly 20,000 volumes by August.
MANGA MIRAI features both manga and webtoon content, including exclusive English editions of previously untranslated titles. Manga can be purchased per volume with a left-to-right reading interface, while select webtoons and manga-inspired works use a vertical scrolling format.
Anime Expo 2025 Debut
For the first time, MANGA MIRAI will exhibit at Anime Expo 2025, North America’supcoming Japanese pop culture convention, which will be held through July 3-6 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

A collaboration between NTT DOCOMO, MyAnimeList Co., Ltd., Akatsuki Group, and MEDIA DO Co., Ltd., MANGA MIRAI was launched in March 2025 with the goal of bringing Japan’s manga culture to the global audience.
