Official Kanojo, Okarishimasu 3D Mousepad Designs and Release Revealed

On March 30, 2021, Hobby Stock Japan posted the designs of their upcoming officially licensed Kanojo, Okarishimasu 3D Mousepads on Twitter. They also announced that it will be available in May 2021.

In addition, there are 4 designs of said 3D mousepads which represent four characters from the anime adaptation of Kanokari (On the images below, from left to right) Chizuru Mizuhara, Mami Nanami, Ruka Sarashina, and Sumi Sakurasawa.

Each mousepad is priced at 4400 yen (~US$40) and is available in a set with a tapestry featuring the same art as the mousepad for 6600 yen (US$60). What’s more, the mousepads are available for pre-order and should premiere in May 2021.

Also, in case you didn’t know, Kanojo, Okarishimasu (Rent A girlfriend) is a Japanese manga series written by Meiji Miyajima. Moreover, it’s serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since July 2017. The manga also has 19 volumes as of March 2021.

Furthermore, the series inspired an anime adaptation that aired in the Summer 2020 season with Studio TMS Entertainment responsible for its production. Additionally, Kazuomi Koga was directing the series and Mitsutaka Hirota was in charge of the composition. Lastly, Hyadain composed its music and Kana Hirayama designed the characters.

The synopsis of the story:

Kinoshita Kazuya is a 20-year-old failure of a college student. He managed to kiss his girlfriend once, but was dumped after a month. “Ugh… Damn it. I never want to go through that again.”

Completely spiteful, Kazuya uses a certain method to date a girl. He goes to their meeting place and suddenly hears,”You’re Kazuya-kun, right?” A beautiful girl brushing her long, black hair behind her ear was there, smiling at him. Her name was Mizuhara Chizuru.

Something real is born after just a single rental! A reckless rom-com filled with love and excitement is about to begin!
