Com2uS has announced it will debut its upcoming RPG TOUGEN ANKI: Crimson Inferno at Tokyo Game Show 2025, marking the first public look at the game based on the anime adaptation of TOUGEN ANKI, which is itself adapting the manga by Yura Urushibara.

The game is part of a larger cross-media push for the TOUGEN ANKI franchise, which has already received a stage play and a TV anime set to premiere on July 11. The manga, serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion, has over 4 million copies in circulation and reimagines the Momotaro folktale as a violent conflict between humans with Oni (demon) blood and descendants of Momotaro.

Com2uS has released a brand identity for the game and launched official X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube channels, which now feature early gameplay footage. According to the company, TOUGEN ANKI: Crimson Inferno is being developed as a cross-platform RPG for both mobile and PC. It will use 3D graphics and cinematic sequences to replicate the anime’s style while delivering a new gameplay experience.
