Girls und Panzer: Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu Spin-Off Anime Reveals Main Visual and Trailer

The upcoming anime film series Girls und Panzer: Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu has unveiled its main visual and trailer, giving us a first look at the four-part spin-off theatrical project. The series will begin its Japanese theatrical run on December 26, 2025.

The anime will be animated by studios P.A. Works and Actas, and distributed by Showgate. The film is directed by Masami Shimoda, with Takahiko Usui serving as series director. The screenplay and series composition are handled by Noboru Kimura.

The project, with the title stylized as Girls und Panzer: Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu!, is adapting the spin-off of the 4-panel manga by Maruko Nii. The release schedule for the four acts is:

  • Act 1: December 26, 2025
  • Act 2: January 30, 2026
  • Act 3: March 6, 2026
  • Act 4: April 10, 2026

The film was announced in March 2025, along with the confirmation of returning cast members from the main series. Voice actresses Ikumi Nakagami, Mai Fuchigami, Ai Kayano, Mami Ozaki, and Yuka Iguchi will all reprise their roles.

Girls und Panzer: Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu Spin-Off Anime Teaser Visual

Originally serialized in Monthly Comic Alive since 2013, the source manga has published 22 collected volumes as of August 2024. Unlike the main Girls und Panzer series, which centers on competitive tank battles, this spin-off is more focused on comedy and the girls’ daily lives.

The Girls und Panzer franchise began with a 2012 TV anime, followed by the 2015 theatrical film Girls und Panzer der Film and the ongoing Girls und Panzer das Finale OVA series, which currently has four of six planned episodes released.
