SAKAMOTO DAYS revealed a new global trailer for Cour 2 (Part 2), which is set to premiere on July 14, 2025. Previously, Koki Uchiyama joined the voice cast as Gaku, while it was announced today that Jacob Bertrand will voice the character in the English dub version.
Just like the first part, Part 2 will feature 11 Episodes released weekly on Mondays, starting July 14. The anime is streaming exclusively on Netflix worldwide, while Japan will have a double episode premiere and maintain an early weekly schedule. Besides Bertrand, the returning English voice cast includes:
- Matthew Mercer as Taro Sakamoto
- Dallas Liu as Shin Asakura
- Rosalie Chiang as Lu Shaotang
- Rosie Okumura as Aoi Sakamoto
- Xolo Maridueña as Heisuke Mashimo
- Aleks Le as Nagumo
- Vinnie Hacker as X/Slur

Studio TMS Entertainment is back to handle the animation, with the main staff of Masaki Watanabe as the director, Yo Moriyama as the character designer, Yuto Suzuki in charge of the screenplay and Taku Kishimoto in charge of the series composition.
Yuto Suzuki writes and draws the SAKAMOTO DAYS manga series. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since 2020, with a total of twenty-two volumes released as of June 4, 2024. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English. SAKAMOTO DAYS: Dangerous Puzzle, the franchise’s first game, also released in Spring 2025.
The story follows Taro Sakamoto, a legendary hitman who retired in order to marry and have a child. He now runs a store, but his past life is not that easy to get rid off. Despite looking very different as a retiree, Sakamoto will not hesitate to protect his family and take down anyone who tries to put them in danger.
