Fate/strange Fake Deets

Fate/strange Fake is a light novel written by Ryogo Narita and illustrated by Morii Shizuka. Kadokawa/ASCII Media Works has published 9 volumes via their Dengeki Bunko imprint. The light novel has inspired a manga adaptation and a July 2023, 55 minute TV special titled Fate/strange Fake: Whispers of Dawn.

A full-length TV anime adaptation by A-1 Pictures has been confirmed. It was scheduled for a 2025 premiere but was delayed until 2026 due to production issues. However, an episode of the anime aired as part of the 2025 annual Fate Project New Year’s Eve TV Special. Crunchyroll will simulcast the series.

Fate/strange Fake brings the first non-Japanese Holy Grail War to the Fate universe. Set in Snowfield, Nevada, this hybrid version of the great magical war transformed into something unrecognizable.
