Fujimoto posted, “Today I watched When I Become a Beaver [Japanese title]. It was fun, so I recommend it,” earning a thank you from the film’s co-creator and director, Daniel Chong. To date, it’s grossed $100 million worldwide, with $58 million coming just over a week since it debuted in the United States on March 6 ($45 million opening weekend, via Box Office Mojo).

Anime Corner’s Carla also had the chance to check out Hoppers, reviewing it from an anime lens. It was described as “very visually fun” and “colorful and vibrant,” with the writing and animation “reminiscent of the energy and charm that the traditional hand-drawn 2D animation used to bring in my childhood.

Fans still await the fate of Chainsaw Man following its latest part’s confirmed finale with Chapter 232. It arrives on March 25, and it’s unclear whether it represents the end of just Part 2 or the series as a whole. Chainsaw Man is described:
Denji’s a poor young man who’ll do anything for money, even hunting down devils with his pet devil Pochita. He’s a simple man with simple dreams, drowning under a mountain of debt. But his sad life gets turned upside down one day when he’s betrayed by someone he trusts. Now with the power of a devil inside him, Denji’s become a whole new man—Chainsaw Man!
