The upcoming MARRIAGETOXIN TV anime revealed a new trailer, which also previews the series’ ending theme song. Titled “Shake Na Baby,” the song is performed by rising singer-songwriter AKASAKI.
AKASAKI shared a message about performing the ending theme:
“Hello, I’m AKASAKI, a college student singer-songwriter. I am truly honored to be performing the ending theme song for a TV anime for the very first time. And on top of that, to be involved with the wonderful work of MARRIAGETOXIN, which is a series I have loved and followed for a long time, is something I am incredibly grateful for.
The song ‘Shake Na Baby’ carries the message of the strength to keep pushing forward in your own way, even in a love full of mistakes. I hope you enjoy the catchy phrases, as well as the energetic and nostalgic sound that matches the speed of the series.”

Studio BONES Film is handling the animation production, with April 3 confirmed as the premiere date. Ahead of the premiere, the production team will also release a six-part behind-the-scenes interview series titled “The Making of MARRIAGETOXIN” on the anime’s official Instagram account, covering topics like character design, color work, action animation, and sound design.
The voice cast includes:

The anime is directed by Motonobu Hori, who is known for Carole & Tuesday and Metallic Rogue. Serving as Chief Animation Director and Character Designer will be Kohei Tokuoka, who served as Chief Animation Director for SK8 the Infinity and as Character Designer and Chief Animation Director for The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity. Studio BONES Film is known for animating two ongoing hit titles, My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON and Gachiakuta.
Official synopsis:
For centuries, the deadly arts have been perfected by those known as the Masters. Among them, the
Poison Masters of the Five Great Families hold the most fearsome power and influence. Hikaru Gero, heir
to the Poison Masters’ Gero Family, has lived his entire life in the underworld, far removed from love or
marriage.
