NIPPON SANGOKU revealed the preview images and synopsis for Episode 3, which is set to premiere on Sunday, April 26. Studio Kafka is in charge of the animation. The anime is co-produced with Amazon MGM Studios and is currently streaming weekly on Prime Video.

Three years after passing the “Dragon Gate,” Aoteru Misumi continues to diligently fulfill his duties under Ryumon. Meanwhile, Yamato sends a demand for unconditional surrender to the neighboring nation of Seii, whose government has been shaken by extreme cold. Within Seii, the sparks of resistance begin to quietly smolder.

NIPPON SANGOKU (meaning “Japan: Three Kingdoms”) is a manga series by Ikka Matsuki, who serves as both writer and artist. The series started publication in November 2021 through Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday platform and the MangaONE app. The official introduction:
