Ayana Taketatsu, the voice actress of Aura in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, performs the anime’s opening theme song, “The Brave,” on CrosSing. The voice actress also previously showcased her vocals and covered other anime theme songs on the channel with covers such as Maaya Sakamoto’s “Platinum” (Cardcaptor Sakura opening) and ClariS’ “irony” (OreImo opening).

“The Brave” is a song from YOASOBI and served as the first opening theme song of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. The anime premiered in September 2023, with the first season having 28 episodes. The second season debuted in January this year and has 10 episodes available. A third season has also been announced and is slated to broadcast in October 2027.
CrosSing is a project aimed at bringing together popular voice actors and singers, who then cover a song originally sung by someone else. They further describe themselves as:
