Kanna Hirayama, the character designer of Oshi no Ko, drew an illustration to celebrate the anime’s official X (formerly Twitter) milestone of reaching 1 million followers. The illustration features the members of B-Komachi MEM-cho, Ruby Hoshino, and Kana Arima.
The first season of Oshi no Ko premiered in April 2023, followed by the second season in July 2024. The third season debuted last January and won most of the Winter 2026 anime awards. The first season also swept the competition in Spring 2023. A fourth season is currently in production.

Studio Doga Kobo (Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie) was in charge of animating all three seasons of the anime with Daisuke Hiramaki (Selection Project) as director. Kanna Hirayama (Rent-A-Girlfriend) designed the characters while Takuri Iga composed the music. Ciao Nekotomi (Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence) was the assistant director for the first two seasons. The voice cast consists of:

- Yurie Igoma as Ruby Hoshino
- Megumi Han as Kana Arima
- Manaka Iwami as Akane Kurokawa
- Rumi Okubo as Mem-cho
- Lynn as Miyako Saito
- Rie Takahashi as Ai Hoshino
