Dr. STONE anime officially ended with today’s finale of Dr. STONE: SCIENCE FUTURE (Season 4). The anime by TMS Entertainment ran for 7 years from July 2019, concluding with a total of 95 episodes (94 regular episodes + the Ryusui special).

Riichiro Inagaki wrote the Dr. STONE manga, with art by Boichi. The series ended after 5 years of serialization on March 7, 2022 with a total of 232 chapters. The creators shared a special illustration and messages:

The Dr. STONE anime adaptation began airing in July 2019, with its first season running for 24 episodes. It was followed by Dr. STONE: STONE WARS in January 2021, an 11-episode second season focused on the conflict between the Kingdom of Science and Tsukasa’s Empire of Might. The series then received the Dr. STONE: Ryusui special in July 2022, which introduced Ryusui Nanami.

The third season, Dr. STONE: NEW WORLD, aired across two split cours in 2023 and covered the Treasure Island arc. Immediately after its finale, the fourth and final season, Dr. STONE: SCIENCE FUTURE, was announced. The final season aired over three split cours from 2025 to 2026, concluding the anime adaptation on June 25, 2026 and bringing Senku’s story, the mystery of petrification, and the Kingdom of Science’s journey to their end.

The adaptation has a total of four seasons and one special: 24 episodes in Season 1, 11 in Season 2, the Ryusui special, 22 in Season 3, and 37 in Season 4, coming up to 94 regular TV episodes plus one special, or 95 animated episodes total.
