Summer 2026 is officially here, and it’s looking to be a season packed with isekai with (at least) 14 other world anime releasing. From some of the most anticipated anime like Saga of Tanya the Evil Season 2 and Mushoku Tensei Season 3, returning heavy-hitters like TenSura Season 4 and Re:ZERO Season 4, and interesting new titles, fans of the genre will have plenty to watch.

Saga of Tanya the Evil II
Voted the most anticipated anime of the season by our fans, the anime will see Tanya Degurechaff returning 9 years after the first season aired in 2017. Studio NUT is in charge of the animation, with Takayuki Yukimoto as the director.
Crunchyroll will be streaming the anime from July 8.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 3
Ranking second in the most anticipated poll right behind Tanya, Rudy will also be coming back this season. Studio Bind is also back, and the anime is set to premiere with a double episode in Japan on July 4. The preview for both episodes was released.
Crunchyroll has confirmed that the anime will arrive to the platform on July 5.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4
Another one of the heavy-hitting isekai titles, That Time I Got Reincarnated (TenSura) will be continuing its second of five cours in Summer 2026. The threat of Maribell is gone, but Rimuru still has plenty of enemies scheming behind the scenes. The latest trailer for the second cour introduced the Primordial Demons Testarossa, Ultima, and Carrera.
Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs 2
Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs 2 is an isekai coming to Summer 2026 after over four years. After exposing the corruption of the kingdom’s elite, Leon Fou Bartfort finds himself dragged into even more trouble despite wanting a quiet life. As new rivals, political conflicts, and threats emerge, he will have to continue using his knowledge of the dating sim world to protect the people around him.
Studio ENGI is again in charge of the animation, and Crunchyroll confirmed that it will stream the anime from July 8.
Skeleton Knight in Another World II
Returning along with Trapped in a Dating Sim (their first seasons aired at the same time in Spring 2022), Skeleton Knight in Another World is another isekai title coming to Summer 2026. After stopping the plot against the elves, Arc continues traveling with Ariane and Chiyome as new threats emerge across the kingdom.
The anime previously confirmed that Aura Studio would be replacing Studio KAI and HORNETS for the animation production, with Katsumi Ono is returning as director. Crunchyroll will stream the anime from July 4.
The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System
Elma realizes he has been reborn into the world of a game he once played. While everyone looks down on the Heavy Knight class, he knows it has the potential to become the strongest. Using his memories from his past life and his knowledge of the game’s mechanics, Elma sets out to unlock its true power and change his fate.
Studio GoHands is in charge of the animation, with Crunchyroll set to stream the anime from July 2.
Hell Mode: The Hardcore Gamer Dominates in Another World with Garbage Balancing Season 2
After escaping serfdom and proving the strength of his Summoner class, Allen will set his sights on even greater challenges in Season 2 in the “Hell Mode” life he chose for himself. The anime is continuing after a 3-month break, with HIDIVE set to stream the anime from July 3.
Ascendance of a Bookworm: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke
Another isekai anime continuing with a second consecutive cour in Spring 2026, Ascendance of a Bookworm: Adopted Daughter of an Archduke (Season 4) will show more of Rozemyne’s adventures.
WIT STUDIO is in charge of the animation, with Crunchyroll continuing to stream the anime.
Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun Season 4
Iruma’s life in the demon world is set to continue after getting promoted to He (Rank 5). The official X teased that several major events are still to come in Season 4, including the Deviculum (Grand Noble Gathering), the Descent Ceremony, the Thirteen Crowns Dinner, and the Dem-dol Games.
BN Pictures is in charge of the animation, with Crunchyroll streaming the anime.
From Overshadowed to Overpowered: Second Reincarnation of a Talentless Sage
After dying without reaching the peak of magic, the great sage Ephtal is reborn 400 years later with all of his memories and power intact. He returns to a world where magic has declined and techniques once considered ordinary are now seen as miracles.
Studio EMT Squared is in charge of the animation, with Crunchyroll streaming the anime since June 25.
Heroine? Saint? No, I’m an All-Works Maid (And Proud of It)!
Melody may be the heroine and saint destined to save the world, but she has no interest in playing that role. After gaining incredible magic, she devotes everything to becoming the perfect all-works maid instead.
Just like with the previous entry, studio EMT Squared is in charge of the animation. It also began streaming on Crunchyroll last week, with two episodes out so as of July 1.
The Forsaken Saintess and her Foodie Roadtrip in Another World
Rin Takanashi, a caregiver in her late twenties, is summoned to another world as a saint but soon finds herself abandoned. Armed with the powerful skills “Motor Home” and “Survival,” she decides to embrace her new life by traveling at her own pace, camping, and cooking delicious meals.
This is the third isekai anime by EMT Squared, and it’s set to premiere on July 6. HIDIVE will be streaming it.
Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life
The first and only reverse isekai on the list, this Summer 2026 anime follows Ryusei Narukami as he lives as a reclusive NEET. He is hiding the fact that he is the reincarnation of a Demon King from another world.
His quiet life is turned upside down when Meteor Hanaori, the reincarnated Hero who once defeated him, suddenly appears. Studio LIDENFILMS is in charge of the animation, with Crunchyroll set to stream it from July 11.
The World’s Strongest Rearguard
After dying in a bus accident, overworked salaryman Arihito Atobe is reincarnated in a fantasy world as a Seeker. Although he receives the rare Rearguard class, a support role focused on strengthening allies from the back lines, Arihito quickly discovers how valuable it can be.
MAHO FILM is in charge of the animation production, with Crunchyroll set to stream the isekai anime as part of its Summer 2026 lineup from July 5.
Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 4
And finally, last, but not last, another giant of an isekai anime set to stream in Summer 2026 is Re:ZERO Season 4. The anime is set to continue with Part 2 “The Recapture Arc,” which will run for 8 episodes and should finally give Subaru some wins after everything he went through last season.
Studio WHITE FOX is in charge of the animation, with the anime set to continue on Crunchyroll on August 12.
Honorable Mention: Red River
Yuri, a modern-day teenager, is suddenly transported to ancient Anatolia as part of a plot by Nakia, the ambitious Queen of the Hittites. Rescued by Prince Kail before the queen can sacrifice her, Yuri soon finds herself mistaken for the incarnation of the war goddess Ishtar.
While not technically an isekai, fans of the genre might be interested as Yuri does find herself so far in the past that it’s practically a different world. Adapting the shojo manga of the same name 24 years after the manga’s ending, the anime will also stream on Crunchyroll.
