The Summer 2026 anime season is finally here, and love is everywhere! With over 20 romance titles, this is a summer of love. But with so many titles, it’s always hectic to figure out what’s worth watching and which streaming service has it. So once again the weebs at Kanojo Corner are here to give you the deets on all the romance, harem, and ecchi anime premiering this summer. “What does ecchiness have to do with romance?” you ask. Think of it this way: ecchiness is romance’s natural progression; it’s like getting a Gyarados from a Magikarp; it doesn’t make sense, but that’s how it works. So here’s where to watch summer 2026’s romance anime.
*All releases are up to date as of July 2. This article does not cover TV channels.*
The Oblivious Saint Can’t Contain Her Powers — June 30
Studios Magic Bus and Picante Circus debuted the first romance of the season with their adaptation of The Oblivious Saint Can’t Contain Her Power. Mujikaku Seijo centers on the life and love of Ruby Carolina Sanchez, the “black sheep” of the Sanchez family. While her family has a long and storied history of success and valor, Carolina doesn’t seem to have above-average skills in anything. So when the opportunity to serve her family and country by marrying a foreign prince comes along, she gladly accepts it. But there’s an issue: her fiancé has quite the boorish reputation as an ornery battle fiend! Yet, when the two meet, what they get isn’t what they expected.
Crunchyroll aired the first episode of The Oblivious Saint Can’t Contain Her Powers. They will release a new episode of this summer 2026 romance anime every Monday.
Kaiju Girl Caramelise — July 2
No one beats Japan when it comes to imagination. When merging humans and horses, the best the West could do was centaurs. Japan, on the other hand, made Umamusume. So it’s only natural that someone there would look at a raging Godzilla and think, “If that were an anime girl, people would call it ‘kawaii’ and try to lewd it.” I can’t promise you that’s what Ringo Naki thought when they wrote Otome Kaijuu Caraméliser, but I’d like to think so.
I don’t know everything; I just know what I know. And I know that Otome Kaiju will be the most absurd show of the season! This summer 2026 romance anime follows Kuroe Akaishi, a girl with a mysterious illness that causes embarrassment to transform her into a kaiju! Due to that lamentable illness, she keeps to herself. But when she meets Arata Minami, things change. Suddenly, she can’t control the beating in her heart, and whenever he’s around, she can’t control her embarrassment!
Crunchyroll and Muse Asia will premiere a new episode of Kaiju Girl Caramelise every Thursday.
KAMUI: He’s Behind You — July 3
Anime doesn’t like to pair some genres as much as it should. If you ask a B-grade or slasher film lover, horniness and horror complement each other. Luckily, Ushiro no Shoumen Kamui-san premieres on July 3rd to remind the anime world of that.
A Deregula adaptation of Yayoi Karasuma and Eroki’s erotic supernatural manga. KAMUI: He’s Behind You follows the ghost-busting duo of Shizuka Mimizuka, a girl who sees and attracts ghosts, and Kamui, an exorcist who lays them to rest with his libido! This is a family-friendly article, so I can’t go into much detail. But it’s not the power of friendship that saves the day here; it’s the power of perviness!
OceanVeil will stream KAMUI: He’s Behind You in select territories.
Sorry About My Little Brothers — July 3
Few things upend normality like a parent getting remarried. Suddenly gaining new family members is always a complicated scenario. And that scenario becomes more complicated when you gain siblings. What if you don’t get along? What if they don’t like you? What if they fall in love with you?
For high school girl Ito Narita, that last question is something she has to contend with when she suddenly gains four new siblings!
Unfortunately, no streaming service has licensed this summer 2026 romance anime. We’ll update this article once they do.
The Frontier Lord Begins with Zero Subjects — July 3
After valiantly serving his kingdom throughout countless battles, the renowned soldier Dias is ready to retire. And to thank him for his deeds, he’s awarded an expansive territory to farm and develop. But there’s a little issue: his land is a desolate plain without any subjects and little to do. Luckily for him, a horny lass shows up and teaches him the joys of working the land.
This anime is part of Crunchyroll’s seasonal lineup.
The Ogre’s Bride — July 4
What do Japanese ayakashi and Greek gods have in common? They both look at human women and think, “Free real estate!” Oni no Hanayome takes this approach, albeit in a more SFW story. This summer 2026 romance anime follows Yuzu Shinonome, an unloved girl who’s constantly belittled and compared to her more successful sister, who had the fortune of marrying a demon fox. But when all the torment finally gets to Yuzu, and she decides that it’s all too much, a strange occurrence happens. Out of nowhere, a beautiful ikemen appears before her and calls her his wife.
The Ogre’s Bride is part of Crunchyroll’s summer lineup.
The Duke’s Son Claims He Won’t Love Me Yet Showers Me with Adoration — July 4
Our expectations and the reality of the situation don’t usually get along. For the fallen noble Elsa, her marriage to the prestigious Julius is such a scenario. After all, Julius is the son of one of the kingdom’s most distinguished families; a happy life should be a guarantee! Instead, her marriage is a dull and loveless affair, but why? Does Julius love someone else, or is there another reason for his disinterest?
Crunchyroll will air The Duke’s Son.
Rich Girl Caretaker: I’m Secretly the Caregiver of the Most Popular Girl in This Rich Kid School — July 4
The current generation is incapable of taking care of themselves. If you took away food delivery apps, Uber, and short videos, half of the below-30 population would suddenly die. That’s why “take care of me” romances are becoming so common. And this season, Saijo no Osewa is here to scratch that itch.
Rich Girl Caretaker follows Itsuki Tomonari, an average dude who suddenly finds himself taking care of the “perfect” Hinako Konohana. But, despite her reputation, Hinako is far from perfect. In fact, she’s a slob that can’t survive on her own. Like an almost ripe banana, the moment you look away, Hinako spoils. But as Itsuki keeps up with Hinako’s relentless ineptitude, love finds its way to them.
Crunchyroll will air this summer 2026 romance anime.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation — July 5

The 100 Girlfriends Who, Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You — July 5
Monogamy is overrated; Crunchyroll and Muse Asia agree. Both streaming companies once again welcome the Rentaro family and will stream Hyakkano’s third season.
Goodbye Lara — July 5
Have you been craving a romance anime that looks like it’s from the 90s? If you have, Kimena Citrus’ original anime, Goodbye Lara, comes to Crunchyroll on the 5th!
This fantastical romance follows Lara, a mermaid princess who falls in love with a human prince. But not only was that romance prohibited; even with the help of a witch, it was not meant to be. Yet two centuries after her failed romance, Lara again awakens and sets off to find her once-in-a-lifetime love.
My Classmate’s a Sexy Actress, and Now We Live Together! — July 6
If you discovered your classmate’s adult videos, what would you do? Would you:
- A) Be a decent human being and don’t mention it to anyone.
- B) Tell all your friends about it?
- C) Confront her about it?
If you’re like Ryosuke Kamiya, you chose C. And if you’re really like Ryosuke, life found your lack of cognitive thinking amusing and rewarded you in the best way possible. Instead of making your classmate slap you with a lawsuit, she saw your actions as a “met cute” scenario and moved in with you! Love-filled days quickly followed.
OceanVeil is streaming this erotic summer 2026 romance anime, and they aired the first episode last month.
Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky — July 6
We rarely consider that the things we find commonplace are a luxury to others. While most of us won’t stop to see a fireworks display or complain about the noise, some people would trade their lives for that moment. Koharu Fuyutsuki is one of those people. Although she’s blind, Koharu approaches life with enviable optimism. But inside her composed exterior, there’s a longing, one she knows is impossible but wishes for constantly; she wants to see fireworks. Toumei na Yoru ni Kakery Kimi to, Me ni Mienai Koi wo Shita promises to be the heart-tugging anime of the season, and Crunchyroll is bringing it to you.

Oh Boy, Was I Wrong About Her — July 6
There are few things more humbling than trying to flirt with someone at a brewery and getting a glare and a “Don’t remember that you used to call me The Thing?!” That’s not quite what Tenkou-saki no Seiso is about, but how the stories rhyme.
Imagine spending your childhood days playing in the mud and collecting bugs with your bro, only to lose touch with them for a few years. Imagine reuniting with them only to find that the bratty dude from your memories was actually a girl, and now she’s a stunner! How long would it take for your feelings of friendship to turn into feelings of love? That’s the story Hayato Kirishima lives in: Oh Boy, Was I Wrong About Her!
This Summer 2026 romance anime is part of Crunchyroll’s lineup.
Young Ladies Don’t Play Fighting Games — July 7
