Lycoris Recoil is celebrating the fourth anniversary of its TV anime with new character visuals featuring Chisato Nishikigi and Takina Inoue in their summer school uniforms. A special anniversary livestream was also announced for August 9, 2026.
Titled “LycoReco Produce 4th Anniversary Livestream by Anzai-san, Wakayama-san and Special Guest!”, the event will feature Chika Anzai (Chisato) and Shion Wakayama (Takina), along with a special guest. The program will be streamed on Aniplex’s official YouTube channel, while fans in Japan can also apply for a chance to attend the event in person.
The newly revealed “Summer Uniform Ver.” illustrations of Chisato and Takina will also be used for new merchandise scheduled to go on sale during Comic Market 108, taking place on August 15 and 16, 2026. Additional details on the merchandise lineup will be announced at a later date.
Lycoris Recoil x Toshimaen Niwa-no-Yu Collaboration Event Announced
Lycoris Recoil is also collaborating with Toshimaen Niwa-no-Yu for a limited-time event from July 24 to August 31, 2026, featuring exclusive merchandise, themed food and drinks, and admission bonuses.
Fans who purchase a collaboration admission ticket will receive one random Japanese hand towel from a set of four designs. The event will also offer a selection of exclusive merchandise featuring Chisato Nishikigi and Takina Inoue, including acrylic stands, trading acrylic keychains, trading badges, clear cards, B2 tapestries, tote bags, clear fans, clear file sets, sticker sets, and tabletop mini flags.
Visitors can also enjoy themed collaboration food and drinks inspired by the series. The menu includes Takina’s Four-Variety Seafood Bowl, Chisato’s Japanese Set Meal, a Chisato & Takina Two-Flavor Gelato, Sweet Red Bean Dessert, and character-themed sodas for Chisato, Takina, Mizuki, and Kurumi. A special Café LycoReco Coffee-Flavored Milk will also be available in randomly designed collectible bottles.
Lycoris Recoil is an original anime by Spider Lily (Kadokawa Corporation, Dentsu Entertainment, and Aniplex) and Asaura, who is credited for the story. Studio A-1 Pictures is in charge of the animation. The first TV anime season ran for 13 episodes from July to September 2022. Following the positive reception of the anime, the franchise announced both manga and light novel adaptations.
A new short anime, Lycoris Recoil: Friends are Thieves of Time, was released weekly in Spring 2025, while another separate project is also in production The main cast for the anime includes:

- Chika Anzai as Chisato Nishikigi
- Misaki Kuno as Kurumi
- Ami Koshimizu as Mizuki Nakahara
- Kosuke Sakaki as Mika
- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Majima

Lycoris Recoil was voted as the best anime of the Summer 2023 season, while Chisato was also voted as the best girl. Takina placed 3rd.
