To start off, Yotsuya, Shindou, Kusue, and Yuka are feeling that their next quest is near, and they are right. The game master summoned them together with the fifth, new, player, Keita. Of course, the reason behind that is because they have a new quest.

Kahabell

It’s only been a week since Yotsuya and the others completed the fourth quest. Now that they came back to the parallel world to start a new quest, they decided to meet Kahabell for some information regarding their task. Yotsuya and the others traveled on Cortonel to meet her.

However, when the five of them see Kahabell, they notice that she has changed and she looks more feminine. Not only that but they also see her two children. To their surprise, Kahabell tells them that it’s already been 15 years since they last met.

Kahabell after 15 years

Of course, Kahabell invited them to her house and there, they discussed the new quest. While they are at it, Yotsuya and the others realized that Kahabell transformed from a girl who always wanted to slash living flesh into a modest maiden. There, Kahabell also reveals that after the disappearance of the heroes 15 years ago, a war broke out on the whole continent.

As a result, Kahabell lost one of her hands. After a few years, she got pregnant, and because she knows the harsh environment of war, she retired from being a knight. Kahabell learned that aside from slashing flesh, she can also be happy by raising her own children.

Confession

After discussing, time went by, and on the next morning, Kahabell invited Yotsuya to watch the sunrise together, and there, they hold hands. While having a moment with each other, Kahabell asks Yotsuya if Shindou and the others told him what happened when he was unconscious after expending so much mana. Hearing a “no” from Yotsuya made her upset and she immediately kissed Yotsuya.

Kahabell kissed Yotsuya

After that, Kahabell confesses that she loved Yotsuya. Furthermore, she also says sorry because she went ahead and got old before him. At that moment, Yotsuya realized that all of their meetings in that parallel world are only once in a lifetime.

I’m really happy that Kahabell finally confessed to Yotsuya. When they bid farewell to each other last season, I can sense Kahabell’s regret for not saying her true feelings. However, I’m also sad because of their situation.

Thecus

Meanwhile, Yotsuya and Kahabell are not aware that the other heroes are watching them from the shadows. As a show of respect for the two, the heroes left them. While walking, Thecus, the child Kusue saved in season 1, notices and greets them.

Kusue burst into tears, seeing that the child she saved before is now a grown-up man. They greet each other happily. Kusue is very thankful because she is always thinking about that boy.

Thecus

Well, the next scene we have is that Yotsuya and the other heroes traveling for their new quest. They arrive at an island dominated by orcs. Moreover, they also meet new characters that will be part of this arc.

Series Synopsis

Aloof and logical middle school third-year Yusuke Yotsuya is transported to a game-like alternate world. He becomes a third player and takes on a dangerous quest with his classmates Iu Shindo and Kusue Hakozaki, who were transported there earlier. The cold Yusuke eschews emotionalism and examines all elements with detachment, sometimes even toying with the lives of his companions.

Can he protect his party from attacking monsters, difficult incidents, and powerful scheming enemies and win the game?
