takt op. Destiny episode 9 finally brings the road trip journey to an end. We’re finally in New York City! Takt and Destiny finally get their tuning! And of course, what’s a day in NYC without some sightseeing? This episode is everything we needed after an emotional episode last week. However, this is obviously the calm before the storm.
New York City, as expected, is as lively as ever. However, even though the city buildings remain safe from D2, Takt says that “it’s not complete because it is without music.” Anna also reunites with her family and gives Destiny an emotional group hug. (Right in the feels.) Later, their check-up results from Anna’s older sister, Lotte, come out with difficult news – Takt and Destiny’s life forces are both consuming and supporting each other. They either have the choice to continue on as Conductor and Musicart or to live the remainder of their short life peacefully.
Despite this heavy news, my favorite part about takt op. Destiny episode 9 is how Lotte, Anna, Destiny, and Takt (to his frustration) all go out sightseeing and shopping. Destiny is absolutely adorable with her love for sweets. Takt and Destiny also share a sentimental moment — orchestra talks, fireworks, and a promise to listen to music together at Central Park someday.
I love how they’re both nicer to each other now. The maturity and growth (and smiles) they get from each other make me so happy. In addition, John Lennon’s memorial “Strawberry Fields” was a lovely surprise too. People are still celebrating and waiting for the music to return. Takt even says, “Music isn’t dead; it’s right with us and no one can take it away.”
Just when we thought things could finally be peaceful, Destiny hears the tuning fork again! When Lenny calls them afterward, it even sounds like a final farewell. It seems we’re finally going to discover Symphonica’s darkest secrets, and it seems they’ll be hitting New York City next.
The Final Act Approaches
This is it! The endgame is near! Takt and Destiny aren’t going to settle for staying in the audience — they’re joining the show! As much as I enjoyed the happy vibes from takt op. Destiny episode 9, it also gave me plenty of things to worry about. Why was Heaven looking so menacing? Does Lotte know something? What was her answer about Cosette? How did Cosette have the stone necklace in the first place? Is Lenny on a suicide mission? Is New York City in trouble? Are these death flags? I have so many questions.
Regardless of what it is, it’s a fact that Symphonica is the bad guy here and that major things are about to happen. No doubt, next week is going to be kicking into the final arc with some more badass scenes. Personally, I don’t think it’ll conclude the entire D2 thing, but I know I’ll be happy with at least a wrap for Takt and Destiny’s story.
So, what did you think of the city tour this episode? Don’t forget to vote for takt op. Destiny in our weekly poll! Make sure to also check out the upcoming takt op. Destiny mobile game too!
