Kono Healer, Mendokusai (This Healer’s a Handful) is based on a manga by Tannen ni Hakkou. The manga started serialization on Kadokawa’s ComicWalker website in 2019 and currently has 22 chapters. Nobuaki Nakanishi (Mangirl!) is directing the anime adaptation with Chisato Kikunaga on character designs. Fumihiko Shino is overseeing series composition. This is studio Jumondou’s first major work, but they previously provided assistance on titles such as The Seven Deadly Sins: Imperial Wrath of the Gods, Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online, and Vatican Miracle Examiner.

The cast for the series includes previously mention Aguri Onishi as Karla, Takuya Sato as Alvin, and Asuna Tomari as Kinoko. The plot follows Karla, a dark elf cleric healer, who spends too much time coming up with creative insults and Alvin, the swordsman she accompanies, who is tired of dealing with her antics.
