Attack on Titan Episode 87 Broadcast Delayed to April 3

The broadcast of Attack on Titan episode 87 has been delayed to April 3 from the original March 27 broadcast date due to scheduling issues with NHK. Episode 87 is the 12th episode, and according to Funimation listing, the final episode of Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2. March 27 is also the date for Attack on Titan’s panel on AnimeJapan.

The official Twitter account for the series announced the news, citing an “organized broadcast”. In addition to episode 87 delay, episode 84 of Attack on Titan is also facing a slight delay, as it will start airing 10 minutes later than usual.

Attack on Titan Final Season Part 2 started airing on January 9, 2022. The anime is currently adapting its final arc which is titled “War for Paradis“. Studio MAPPA is animating the series, with Yuichiro Hayashi as the director. Hiroshi Seko is writing the screenplay, while also overseeing series composition. Shintaro Kawakube is credited with story composition and Tomohiro Kishi is serving as a character designer. Kohta Yamamoto and Hiroyuki Sawano are composing the music.

The main cast returned for the final season and includes Yuki Kaji as Eren, Marina Inoue as Armin, and Yui Ishikawa as Mikasa. Ayane Sakura, Yoshimasa Hosoya, and Natsuki Hanae are also back and are voicing Gabi, Reiner, and Falco respectively.
